Geisinger is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse Surgical Tech to join our Labor and Delivery Unit in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to specialized patient care in a supportive and dynamic hospital environment.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, providing direct patient care, supporting surgical procedures within the labor and delivery setting, and collaborating with physicians, registered nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. Daily responsibilities typically include monitoring patient vitals, preparing treatment areas, assisting during surgical interventions, documenting patient care accurately, and offering compassionate support to patients and their families throughout their hospital stay.
The annual salary for this position is $46,437. Geisinger is proud to offer market-leading hiring rates, with increased rates available for experienced individuals, as well as up to $5 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Additionally, eligible team members may take advantage of up to $40,000 in financial support to become a Registered Nurse (RN).
