Cricket Tasmania is seeking a dedicated Media and Public Relations Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis in North Hobart, Hobart. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping us achieve our ambition of being recognised as the leading sports brand in Tasmania by shaping how cricket is seen, heard, and experienced across the state and beyond.
As our Media and Public Relations Advisor, you will be at the heart of our communications efforts. You will be responsible for driving strategic communications, building positive relationships with media outlets, and crafting compelling storytelling that resonates with our audience. Your daily focus will be on connecting with fans, inspiring community participation in the game, and elevating the profile of Tasmanian cricket and our associated brands.
To be successful in this part-time position, you should bring strong expertise in media relations, public relations, and strategic communications. While working closely with internal and external stakeholders in Hobart, you will manage media opportunities, draft engaging public statements, and help protect and promote the reputation of Tasmanian cricket.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local and national media representatives.
