Join the RAC as a Mobile Mechanic within our SMR Division and be part of an exciting new era of mobile repair. While the RAC is famously known for roadside rescue, this is a different kind of role focused on Service, Maintenance, and Repair (SMR) directly at customers’ locations. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team on a full-time basis in Bygrave, Baldock.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs while traveling to customers. You will utilize your technical expertise to diagnose faults, perform scheduled maintenance, and complete quality repairs efficiently, ensuring a seamless and reliable experience for every customer.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive total compensation package with on-target earnings of up to £52,000 per year (incorporating a competitive base salary of £40,178). You will work a 40-hour week with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, alongside a commitment to work 1 in 4 Saturdays. Additional financial incentives include:
