About this job

  • Determining ideal NDE methods, identifying and reviewing suppliers, and ramping production processes
  • Driving technical product improvements and engineering drawing updates to enhance manufacturability and reduce defect opportunities
  • Investigating NDE-related issues to their root cause and implementing corrective actions at suppliers or internally
  • Supporting containment activities and collaborating cross-functionally with supply chain and engineering teams
  • Assessing supplier inspection processes, quality systems, and overall technical capabilities

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following basic requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
  • Have 1+ years of experience with manufacturing or processing engineering
  • Meet U.S. Government export regulation (ITAR) requirements

Preferred skills and experience for this role include familiarity with aerospace NDE methods (such as ET, MT, PT, UT, RT/DR, and VT), knowledge of supplier quality processes and ISO 9000/AS9100 quality systems, disciplined problem-solving methodologies like 8D, and strong cross-functional communication abilities.

Additional requirements for this position include the ability to work extended hours, nights, or weekends as needed, a willingness to travel up to 40-50% of the work week, and holding a valid driver’s license.

Compensation for this role is determined by experience level: Level I ranges from $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year, and Level II ranges from $110,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year. Additional total rewards may include long-term incentives, discretionary bonuses, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) access, paid time off, and parental leave.
