In this hospital-based role, you will deliver comprehensive obstetric care and emergent gynecological services. Your responsibilities will center on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions specific to the female anatomy, alongside guiding and supporting women throughout their pregnancy in the hospital setting. Key duties include:
- Providing hospital-based obstetric and emergent gynecological care.
- Participating in regional OB/GYN team rotations and performing assigned hospital-based duties.
- Rounding on inpatient obstetric patients, managing scheduled labor inductions, and performing planned C-sections.
- Admitting and managing labor for patients assigned to the regional Kelsey provider group.
- Working 24-hour shifts, with an expectation of 7 shifts per month, which includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
To qualify for this position, candidates must be graduates of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency, or fellowship program upon hire. Applicants must be licensed in the State of Texas and either Board Certified or Board Eligible. Candidates must have completed residency and be currently practicing, or be in residency at the time of application.
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,500 to $484,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonuses, determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, and work experience, with potential increases based on productivity and performance. Eligible employees may also receive a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401(k) contributions subject to specific eligibility requirements.
