As the ultimate destination for circular fashion, our brand offers infinite points of access to a shared closet via a fully customizable subscription, one-time rental, or ownership. We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Photo Studio Assistant to join our in-house production team in New York, NY.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has recently graduated from photography school or brings 1–2 years of studio experience to gain hands-on commercial experience. You will work closely with our photographers and production team to support daily shoots, maintain studio spaces, and manage equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the studio throughout the day.
Assisting photographers with resetting lighting and equipment between shoots, including moving props, backdrops, and painting surfaces.
Creating and maintaining equipment checklists for each shoot week.
Helping with lighting setups, breakdowns, and adjustments under photographer guidance.
Managing and organizing equipment inventory and supplies under the supervision of the Studio Production Manager.
Performing light administrative tasks such as logging equipment usage, assisting with shoot schedules, updating studio records, and handling packages.
Ensuring all gear is properly stored, labeled, and in working order while upholding studio protocols.
Providing additional photography or production support on larger campaign and editorial shoots as needed.

The ideal candidate possesses:

A recent degree from a photography or visual media program, or 1–2 years of professional photo studio experience.
A strong interest in photography, lighting, and e-commerce production.
A basic understanding of studio lighting and grip equipment, such as strobes, modifiers, and C-stands.
Comfort with physical tasks, including the ability to lift 50 lbs and reset photoshoot sets.
Strong attention to detail, high organizational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
A strong work ethic, positive team-player attitude, and willingness to learn from experienced photographers and producers.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $25 to $27 per hour. The final rate offered depends on various factors, including individual qualifications, relevant experience, education level, and applicable professional skills.
