Banner Health, recognized as a top 5 health system, is actively seeking a qualified Pediatric Pulmonologist to join an established team in partnership with the University of Arizona. Based in Tucson, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established, nationally recognized academic pediatric pulmonary practice within the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at Banner – University Medical Group.
In this academic role, you will provide specialized care to a diverse patient population, including border, indigenous, and rural communities. You will work collaboratively within a dedicated healthcare environment committed to excellence in clinical care, education, and community health.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Providing comprehensive diagnostic, treatment, and ongoing management services for infants, children, and adolescents with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, specialists, and support staff to deliver patient-centered care.
- Participating in academic, teaching, and clinical research initiatives in partnership with the University of Arizona.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with health system standards.
- Engaging with diverse and underserved patient populations with cultural sensitivity and clinical expertise.
