ACT Corrective Services is seeking a dedicated and suitably qualified professional to join the team as a Programs Facilitator (HP3) within Offender Reintegration on a part-time basis, located in Barton, South Canberra. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting detainees and offenders as they work to address criminogenic needs, build personal capability, and reduce the likelihood of reoffending. You will be responsible for the delivery of contemporary, evidence-informed programs designed to promote positive behavioral change and successful reintegration into the community.

Key responsibilities and duties associated with this position typically include:

Facilitating evidence-based rehabilitation and reintegration programs for offenders and detainees in a structured and supportive environment.
Assessing participant readiness and engagement to ensure programs effectively target identified criminogenic needs.
Maintaining accurate records, case notes, and progress reports in accordance with organizational policies and compliance standards.
Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, case managers, and key stakeholders within ACT Corrective Services to support holistic offender management.
Applying clinical expertise and exceptional communication skills to manage group dynamics and foster a constructive learning atmosphere.
Upholding the highest standards of personal integrity, professional ethics, and occupational health and safety.
