Carle Health is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in Champaign, Illinois, as a Diabetes Educator. In this vital role, you will utilize a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide exceptional healthcare services to individuals, families, and communities.
As part of our team, your primary responsibilities will align with the registered professional nurse scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing, focusing specifically on diabetes care, patient education, and health management support. You will work closely with patients to help them understand their conditions, develop effective self-management strategies, and navigate their treatment plans successfully while promoting overall health and wellness.
This position offers an annual salary of $39,390. We are looking for a professional who is committed to patient advocacy, health promotion, and delivering high standards of care within our community.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following qualification requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist credentials as indicated by the role requirements.
