Join the RAC as a Roadside Vehicle Mechanic based in Woodside, Luton, and become an essential part of the team that keeps the UK moving. This is a full-time, demand-led position offering a competitive base salary with realistic total earnings reaching £60,000 per year.
As a Roadside Technician with the RAC, your primary focus will be providing high-standard mechanical diagnostics, repairs, and roadside assistance to motorists in need. You will operate primarily from a fully equipped patrol vehicle, starting and finishing your workday directly from your own driveway for maximum convenience.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) alongside at least 2 years of relevant hands-on mechanical experience. You should also hold a valid UK driving licence with a clean record.
