We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Host or Hostess to join our team on a full-time basis, with a hiring rate of $29.00 per hour. As a Security Host/Hostess, your main goal is to provide a safe and secure environment that enables our guests, cast members, and vendors to experience the magic of Disney.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Performing protective and enforcement functions in a courteous and professional manner while dealing with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances, and threats to life and property.
- Acting as a first responder and completing training on CPR, AED, Stop The Bleed, and fire extinguisher procedures.
- Conducting interior and exterior resort foot patrols to identify undesirable conditions and maintain order.
- Evaluating situations quickly, making logical decisions, and maintaining a calm demeanor while handling security and emergency calls.
- Conducting investigations, which include evaluating scenes, interviewing complainants and witnesses, and documenting findings through accurate report writing.
- Operating state-of-the-art technology, monitoring CCTV systems, managing complex communication consoles, and dispatching personnel via two-way radio.
- Providing cash escorts, issuing contractor and visitor badges, assisting with key management, and processing lost and found property.
- Delivering exceptional guest service by providing accurate information regarding directions and hours of operation, as well as escorting guests and cast members to parking lots as needed.
Basic qualifications and requirements for the role include:
- Being at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Holding a valid State of Hawaii Guard Card.
- Possessing excellent communication, writing, and technology skills, including keyboarding at 25 WPM and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrating relevant first responder, military, loss prevention, or hotel/resort security experience.
- Full schedule availability, as this is a full-time role requiring open availability seven days per week, including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred qualifications that align well with our operations include an Associate’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or Emergency Management, a strong understanding of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, and knowledge of the Hawaiian or Japanese language.
