Amazon TA is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join the team as a Senior RME Technician for the DSA6 RME Team, based in Newton Hill, Wakefield. In this role, you will be an integral part of the machinery and operations that span across Europe’s extensive network of fulfillment centers and delivery stations. Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include the following:
- Performing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide variety of automated material handling equipment and machinery.
- Conducting scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
- Responding promptly to equipment faults and system breakdowns, applying effective problem-solving skills to restore full functionality.
- Adhering strictly to all site safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a secure working environment for all team members.
- Collaborating closely with operations teams, engineering staff, and other technicians to support continuous improvement and site reliability initiatives.
- Documenting maintenance activities, tracking spare parts inventory, and maintaining accurate records using computerized maintenance management systems.
