Halfords is currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team at our new Fusion Centre in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working 5 days a week, with the added benefit that this centre is closed on Sundays to help support a healthy work-life balance.
In this role, you will be based in a newly upgraded centre equipped with the latest facilities, designed to lead the way in providing a first-class customer experience. As a key member of our workshop team, your day-to-day responsibilities will naturally involve carrying out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, and conducting MOT tests efficiently and to the highest standard of safety and quality.
We offer a competitive financial package to reward your expertise and hard work:
- Base salary of £34,900 per year
- On-target earnings up to £41,700 per year, driven by an uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,800
- Opportunities to earn extra through our refer a friend scheme, subject to terms and conditions
