Enphase Energy is looking for an EHS Specialist ANZ to join our team on a full-time basis in Christchurch, Canterbury. As the fastest growing inverter company in the world, we combine the power of solar energy with advanced communications technology to make solar power systems productive, reliable, smart, and safe, increasing the energy harvest of solar panels by up to 25 percent. Our innovative microinverter system is profoundly changing the way solar systems function and transforming the solar industry itself.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our expanding operations, helping to champion and maintain high standards of environmental health and safety across the region. You will work closely with team members to support safety protocols, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and foster a secure and healthy workplace culture in line with Enphase Energy’s corporate standards.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental health and safety policies and procedures aligned with local regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conducting regular workplace inspections, hazard identification assessments, and safety audits to proactively mitigate risks.
- Facilitating safety training sessions and promoting awareness of EHS best practices among employees and contractors.
- Investigating workplace incidents, near-misses, and injuries, and assisting in the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and records related to EHS performance and compliance.
- Collaborating with internal teams and management to continuously improve health and safety standards across our facilities.
